What types of batteries does profileMyRun use? And, how long will the batteries last? |
We combine wearable tech with big sport data through a patent filed on running insole sensors. Our technology is differentiated from current offerings like Sensoria's fabric type material and Moov's type of angle position based 9-axis accelerometer based solution to profile running. We combine the usage of tactile, pressure, shoe position, sensing together with machine learning to capture and learn running habits.
All training specs have been defined by legitimate trainers. By monitoring the proper posture of runners and providing runners constant feedback to correct their running habits, profileMyRun will eventually enable runners to run more effectively without pain. |
There are two key advantages to our battery technology. The first is that profileMyRun operates on rechargeable batteries, so no hassle of replacing expensive button cell batteries. Second, the Lithium Polymer battery we use in conjunction with the on-board battery management system enables profileMyRun hardware to last for a full marathon (26.2 miles = 42.195 kilometers) on a single charge, so you can focus on your run. You'll likely give up before the battery does.
Each profileMyRun system comes with a standard easy-to-use USB-to-micro USB cable that can plug right in to your Apple iPhone wall charger or into your bus-powered USB port on your computer (regardless if it is an Apple MacBook or Windows-based PC). 30 minutes later, your ProfileMyRun system is ready to go, and you can get running! |

What Will I See On My Smartphone During My Run?Start the profileMyRun app on your iOS device. Click "Start Scan" to find your Bluetooth Low Energy wireless module and connect to your iOS device. Once the connection has been established, go the "shoeSensor" tab, which will look like the following screen. Here you can select "Cadence" ON or OFF, "ForeAlert" ON or OFF and "HeelAlert" ON or OFF. Next, click on "Profile" and then "Start". You are now all set to begin your running session. Let ProfileMyRun do the rest.

What Type Of Data Will I See After My Run?At the end of your run, hit "STOP" in the shoeSensor screen and go to the "Score" tab to "Read Profile" or "Post Profile" to your social media.
